Experience divine grace with this 15-inch Panchalogam Thiruchendur Murugar idol with Thiruvachi, handcrafted in Kumbakonam using the traditional lost wax method. Known as the God of War and Victory, Lord Murugar is worshipped for courage, wisdom, and spiritual strength. This idol features the revered Thiruvachi, a sacred arch-like canopy that symbolizes divine protection and power.
The idol is made using Panchaloha, a sacred five-metal alloy of gold, silver, copper, zinc, and iron. This combination is believed to enhance spiritual vibrations and ensure durability. The casting process begins with a wax model, encased in a ceramic mold. The mold is heated to remove the wax, then molten Panchaloha is poured inside. Once cooled, the mold is broken, and the sculpture is cleaned, polished, and detailed by hand.
Crafted at our Shriworks factory in Kumbakonam, each statue is made by skilled artisans from families who have practiced this sacred craft for generations. The hand-finished detailing brings life to Lord Murugan’s features, weapons, and ornaments—details often missing in mass-produced statues.
