Handcrafted Panchaloha Saraswathi Idol – From the Artisans of Kumbakonam
Invite divine energy into your space with this beautifully handcrafted Panchaloha Saraswathi idol. At Shriworks in Kumbakonam, skilled artisans bring each statue to life using traditional methods passed down through generations.
🌟 Crafted the Traditional Way
Our artisans start by sculpting a detailed wax model of the idol. They then coat it in a ceramic shell. Once the shell hardens, they heat it to remove the wax, leaving a hollow mold behind. Next, they pour a molten mix of five sacred metals—gold, silver, copper, iron, and zinc—into the mold.
After the metal cools, they remove the ceramic shell and begin polishing the idol by hand. Every fine detail is carved with precision. This method ensures both durability and spiritual value.
🛕 Why Panchaloha Matters
Panchaloha, meaning “five metals,” holds deep spiritual significance in Indian tradition. Many temples use this metal blend for their deities because it is believed to hold divine energy. By using Panchaloha, we ensure that each idol is not just beautiful but also powerful and sacred.
🎨 Made by Generations of Artists
Unlike machine-made idols, our statues carry the soul of handmade craftsmanship. At Shriworks, artists with decades of experience shape each idol with care and devotion. Their families have preserved this sacred art form for centuries, and their skill is visible in every intricate detail.
🙏 Perfect for Homes, Schools, and Gift-Giving
